CDL Skills Test Update: See What's Changing
Oklahoma is updating the CDL Skills Test to the 2022 model for a more streamlined testing process.
What’s changing?
- Vehicle inspection and basic control skills tests will be different.
- You cannot mix the 2005 and 2022 test models.
What are the benefits?
- A revised test model that maintains high standards for assessing an applicant’s readiness to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
- Improved effectiveness and efficiency in test administration.
- A standardized model with flexibility to adapt to evolving road conditions and technological advancements.
If you started the 2005 test:
- Finish at a location that still offers it, or
- Restart under the 2022 model.
