REMEMBERING THE PAST WHILE BOLDLY MOVING FORWARD
“As president of OAPT, it is my honor to welcome you to our 49th annual conference and trade show. This year, in addition to a ribbon on our name badge, all board members can be easily identified by OAPT-branded shirts. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask one of us.
This year is the 50th year of OAPT. As I think about this, I cannot help but reflect on the transportation leaders who have brought us to where we are today. I am thankful to each of them and their vision to create an organization dedicated to student transportation within the state of Oklahoma. Within this agenda, you will find a listing of each of the presidents who provided leadership and direction to get us where we are today.
While we remember the past, we are boldly moving forward. One of the biggest changes you see is our use of technology. With the change to our web hosting service, many new technologies are now available to us. First, we have launched an app that can be downloaded to any smartphone. Second, we have transitioned to a paperless format for the agenda. Also, we were able to fully implement and streamline the conference registration process. In addition, we are close to launching a member-only section of the website that will provide access to exclusive information and training opportunities.

Featured Keynote Speaker
Debreon Davis,
Executive Director of Secondary Education, Edmond Public Schools (OK)
Debreon Davis is a lifelong educator who loves God and loves people. Debreon currently serves as the Executive Director of Secondary Education in Edmond Public Schools in Oklahoma, spending 10 years prior as a high school principal.
Debreon consistently serves her community through leadership coaching, mentoring, and education. Her efforts were nationally recognized when she won the National Milken Educator Award in 2017 for her work with high school students, challenging them to see their potential and fight for their personal growth and in 2019 she won the President’s Award in Oklahoma.
Debreon is an active educator, leader, and public speaker who believes in the power of spreading love and hope. She gave a TED Talk at the Oklahoma City event in 2022, empowering others to Stand Up Straight during decision making, and will defend and graduate with her doctorate in December of 2025.

IMPORTANT: OAPT Refund Policy
Director/Mechanic Registration (Fee Only): Must submit a request in writing. Requests submitted inside of 30 days of the conference may be denied.
Vendor Registration (Fee Only): Requests must be submitted in writing to the Vendor Director no closer than 30 days to the conference date to receive a partial (up to 50%) refund. Any request submitted within 30 days of the conference date may be denied.
