Christy began her career in transportation in 2007 with Mustang Public Schools as a bus driver. She quickly became a Certified School Bus Driver Instructor. In 2009, she accepted an Assistant Director of Transportation position in Norman where she worked until 2018. In 2018, Christy accepted her current position as Director of Transportation for Yukon Public Schools. She has been involved with the OAPT Board throughout her career and served as the OKC Metro Director.
Christy is a graduate from Mid-America Christian University with a Bachelors in Christian Ministry. She believes that ALL students deserve the same opportunities and has spent her career ensuring that.
