Mr. Hunt has been working in transportation for Lawton Public School since September of 2018. Mr. Hunt attended school in Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School in 1996. He then attended Cameron University and completed his undergraduate degree in physical education in December of 2000. Before joining Lawton Public Schools, Mr. Hunt served the United States Government for 17 years as a civil service employee.
During his tenure there, he was a recreation specialist and a youth sports and fitness director. Mr. Hunt has 20 years of experience driving buses. When joining LPS, Mr. Hunt was hired as a supervisor. In July of 2020, Mr. Hunt was hired as the transportation director. Mr. Hunt was raised in Lawton and has been married for 18 years. He is a father of 3. He enjoys spending time with family and friends. His favorite thing about being a transportation director is interacting with all the employees of the transportation division.
